The story of:
Salt & Cedar
Our
Story
Embracing tides and exploring the PNW.
At 6 years old, in 2002, my mom gave me this new form of technology that didn't quite satisfy her expectations, a digital camera. She used to shoot a Nikon film camera and the quality was worlds better than the 2-megapixel digital that she'd been given, so the next of kin was me. Since then I've forced my little sister (who HATES having her photos taken by the way...) into numerous outfits, taken a million photos and upgraded my gear four times.
My editing style is deeply inspired by the landscapes I love most — true-to-color, earthy, and natural — because mossy greens, misty blues, and golden PNW light don’t need fixing, just honoring. I believe the best photos feel warm, honest, a little magical, and exactly like the day felt… foggy forecast and all.
Hey, I’m Andria
Salt & Cedar’s Lead Photographer
Hi! I’m the heart (and camera) behind the photos, a forever Pacific Northwest admirer who believes Washington might just be the prettiest place on earth — rain, fog, moss and all. I’ve been photographing weddings for over ten years, collecting love stories, quiet in-between moments, happy tears, and all the joyful chaos that comes with saying “I do” (sometimes barefoot, sometimes in the rain, always worth it). When I’m not chasing soft light and misty skies, I’m adventuring through life with my sweet daughter and my husband in our quaint, picture-perfect little town on South Whidbey Island.
